Who we are

The INTERDISCIPLINARY LABORATORY FOR BIOPSYCHOCYBERNETICS RESEARCH is a no-profit association established by six Italian scholars in 2001. It is an innovative structure created for the biopsychocybernetic research and study whose aim is basically operational.

The Director of our Laboratory is Dr. Enrico Marabini, full member of Parapsychological Association.

Our concern

Through scientific methods and instruments the LABORATORY is interested in researching and studying anomalous, unusual or non conventional phenomena of “psy interaction”, phenomena depending on particular “biopsychic conditions” and on bioresonance phenomena in which man has always been directly or indirectly involved. A peculiar feature of “The “Laboratory” activity is to offer a free “counselling” for its members, people or organisations (Centres, Associations, Coteries).

What the Biopsychocybernetics is

It must be said that the phenomena studied by “The Laboratory” raise physical, medical and psychological problems and a neurophysiological knowledge which also includes those phenomena of bioresonance which – as is known – depend on the relation that every man has with the close and remote physical world. It is well known the influence that the electromagnetic fields and the geomagnetic and sidereal radiations have on the Central Nervous System and – as a consequence – on the living systems. The phenomena which come from this kind of interaction between man and environment fall within the “biopsychocibernetic of the information”.

Counselling

The Laboratory offers three kinds of counselling:

• Counselling on images of presumed anomalous origin (films, pictures, psychographs, scotographs, etc.);
• Counselling on transcommunicational events (particularly on psychophonia and metaphonia);
• Medical, psychological and neurophysiological counselling for subjects who have altered or modified states of consciousness and subjects who declare to have experienced phenomena connected with apparitions, hauntings, poltergeist, etc.

Member Categories

Member categories - according to the art. 7 of “The Laboratory” by-laws, who wants to be a member can subscribe to one of the following categories:

1. Ordinary Member - natural or legal persons (by means of their representative) who want to actively help to carry out the scientific programmes of “The Laboratory”;
2. Contributing Member - natural or legal persons who want to help the research also financially supporting “The Laboratory”’s activities;
3. Research Member - all the founders of the "Il Laboratorio" and the members of the Steering Group are Research Members. The other members of the "Il Laboratorio" can became Research Members studying the biopsychocybernetic multimedia course and giving a final thesis and after that taking an examination.

Advantages of being a member

1. Carry out researches and studies free of charge;
2. Receive yearly an issue of the "Il Laboratorio's" Proceedings;
3. Attend workshops and congresses of the Laboratory free of charge;
4. Publish one’s articles and researches on “The Laboratory” internet site;
5. Free specialistic counselling to analyse and study the phenomena which fall within the Laboratory research sphere.

What does IL LABORATORIO Membership Cost?

There are four kind of fees:

• FOUNDER MEMBER, ORDINARY AND RESEARCHER MEMBER: € 65.00;
• ASSOCIATIONS, CENTRES, COTERIES ETC: minimum subscription equivalent to 3 ordinary fees;
• CONTRIBUTING MEMBER: minimum subscription equivalent to 2 ordinary fees;
• MEMBERS FROM ABROUD: € 75.00.
